Here's to Diya

She's the apple of my eye.
She's ready to strip @ the drop of a hat.
Her prevarications could slip thru a lie detector with effortless ease.
She sings out of tune with gay abandon...& relishes it.
She throws tantrums, and almost always ends up on the winning side.
She has a smile that simply steals my heart away.
She has few secrets and delves into then upon request.
She talks and talks and talks and talks and talks and talks.
She bribes me with hugs and kisses.
Many a siesta have I misses because of her habitual blabbering.
Her enigmatic ways are simply baffling and bafflingly simple.
It's impossible to miss her charms.
She is my doting 4yr old neice, Diyasha.

I hope she comes across this blog some day and realise what a whale of a time we shared together.

This is what Bertrand Russell said about religion...

Religion is based, I think, primarily and mainly upon fear. It is partly the terror of the unknown and partly, as I have said, the wish to feel that you have a kind of elder brother who will stand by you in all your troubles and disputes. ... A good world needs knowledge, kindliness, and courage; it does not need a regretful hankering after the past or a fettering of the free intelligence by the words uttered long ago by ignorant men.
