This is what Bertrand Russell said about religion...

Religion is based, I think, primarily and mainly upon fear. It is partly the terror of the unknown and partly, as I have said, the wish to feel that you have a kind of elder brother who will stand by you in all your troubles and disputes. ... A good world needs knowledge, kindliness, and courage; it does not need a regretful hankering after the past or a fettering of the free intelligence by the words uttered long ago by ignorant men.
My postings have become increasingly verbose.
Wonder y.

Here's to the folks who read my postings...and occasionally comment

Thanks! You keep me going.
Now here's something that baffles me. Cyberspace is full of useful and informative webpages. What makes you waste time sifting thru mine?

I should have been a ventriloquist. At least someone would have understood me.

The previous page color carried some melancholy in tow...and that's something I am least equipped to handle. So reverting back to the white color.
Guys, please send me your comments.

My testing project is going topsy-turvy. The only thing being tested is my patience.

Mozilla Firefox works like a dream. Why should we not experiment with it?
I've attained nirvana! Surfed for more than 2 hrs at a stretch from the office.

It's only mid February, but the fans are already on in full swing.

It's a snooze fest out there in Skytech Solutions

I'm doing my vestigial project from here. My non productive work ,which involves nothing but staring blankly at the screen, is punctuated by a fabulous lunch.

I've finally discovered a Sify outlet close to my place. The cybercafe is dimly lit but spacious. The fellow in-charge here seems to be very affable, though I despise the Bangla songs that are ruining the ambience.

Samir, Ashwini and all that jazz

Samir's mail caught me with my pants down! We are supposed to go all the way to Ranchi and submit some forms regarding our project. Shunks!
Ashwini fell prey to the hype behind Kolkata being the next IT Mecca. Reality disillusioned him pretty soon and now he is itching to reach for the salubrious environs of Bangalore. I've asked him to stay put since he has already found a project here.
