Hanged

26052008219

My new hangers have been pressed into service. The oldies now have vital company.

Putting a semblance of order among my clothes seemed more daunting than solving the most complex triple integration. Add to that my eternal disinterest towards anything wearable and you'll know why I've lost track of many a trousers, T-shirt and socks. I'm sure many of the lost-and-never-found ones have joined the nitrogen cycle by now.

I wish the wardrobe had more room.

This is what Bertrand Russell said about religion...

Religion is based, I think, primarily and mainly upon fear. It is partly the terror of the unknown and partly, as I have said, the wish to feel that you have a kind of elder brother who will stand by you in all your troubles and disputes. ... A good world needs knowledge, kindliness, and courage; it does not need a regretful hankering after the past or a fettering of the free intelligence by the words uttered long ago by ignorant men.
